Our campsites aim to give you and your family your best holiday ever. Accordingly, you have the opportunity to take part in lots of different activities on Danish campsites to spice up your camping holiday with all sorts of exciting, fun things.
The new topical division further ensures that the activities are of high quality and that you will return with lots of good memories. The Danish Camping Board markets a campsite’s selection of activities on the condition that the campsite meets a number of quality requirements with regard to each topic of activity. You can read more about these requirements below.
It’s important for you to be aware that the requirements for cycling holidays, walking holidays, angling and golf are the same as for the topics the campsites have registered with Aktiv Danmark and VisitDenmark. The campsites automatically meet the requirements of Aktiv Danmark if they fulfil the requirements for cycling holidays, walking holidays, angling and golf.
As the owner or lessee of a campsite, you have several options for organising your environmental efforts. One is to use the priorities laid down by the eco-labelling schemes to qualify for an eco label. For Danish campsites, these schemes are “The Green Key” – an eco-label whose requirements are managed by the Danish Camping Board – and “The Flower”, the official eco-label of the European Union.
